in the Lakes
The Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park is one of the most
beautiful landscapes in Chile and Puerto Varas is the best city to
begin your adventure trip in the Lakes District. Puerto Varas is located
on the shores of Llanquihue Lake 20 minutes from Puerto Montt city,
the main entrance in this region because the airport.

| DAY 01
PUERTO VARAS |
| Reception
at Puerto Montt airport and transfer to Puerto Varas. Lodging at the
hotel selected. Time at leisure and walk this beautiful city. Welcome
drink, dinner and night. |
| DAY 02
CALBUCO VOLCANO (full day soft horse riding) |
| Breakfast.
Morning departs to Ensenada. After a short instruction about horse
riding, we will ride through a native forest surrounding by the Calbuco
and Osorno volcanoes towards a water fall to take the picnic lunch.
Return to Puerto Varas around 8 p.m. Dinner and night. |
| DAY 03
PETROHUE (half day whitewater rafting) |
| Breakfast.
Morning shorts drive to "Los Patos" area. Everybody gets
his rafting equipment: a neoprene wet-suit, a water-proof jacket,
a life jacket, a helmet and the paddle. The following instructions
(general information about rafting, safety rules, how to act in whitewater).
The part of the river which we will descend is about 17 km. long and
consists of 13 rapids of a level up to 3+. After one hour and a half
of rafting we arrive at the river "Hueño-Hueño"
where we get off our rafts and enjoy a picnic. Return to Puerto Varas.
At the agreed times transfer to the airport in Puerto Montt. |
